This was the second phase for the new build of Oxford University’s Business School, which officially opened in 2013.
This project involved collaborating with the main contractors, Chalegrove Properties and the architect, Dixon Jones, to create their desired proposal.
The striking feature of the building’s façade is the 8.2 metre run of sliding doors that were installed in a ‘zigzag’ formation. Patio and sliding doors were used elsewhere to naturally light up rooms and make them feel more spacious.
The various systems involved on this project included tilt/turn and casement windows, sliding doors and double doors.
